I am Thankful for my Christmas

I am thankful for my Christmas toys. I like my Bounce Back Racer and my helicopter and my scooter and my new camera. I also like my bowling set. I'm thankful for the Wii too.

It was fun having Angelica and Chris and Jacob here too. Mommy read Jacob and I a story about Jesus' birth and we heard Rudolph's bells ringing outside! We colored pictures for Rudolph and Santa hung them up in Rudolph's barn. We left cookies and milk for Santa and strawberries for Rudolph because we were out of carrots.

OOooh....and I got a Glow Dome and it glows in the dark and it does so many things. You can draw things on it and it glows. You can even draw outer space!

Ooohh.....ooohhh and we went to church on Christmas Eve and I sang "Happy Birthday Jesus" and we had candles. When we held the candles we had to turn the lights off and be very, very quiet. It was cool.

My Snowglobe, My Toys and Me

Well, I had a good day at school today. I had a snack, I ate bananas, cheese sticks, goldfish and orange juice!

But I want to talk about my snow globe and my toys. I love snow globes, I like to watch the snow fall in them and I like the music, they are AWESOME! Now I want to talk about my toys. I like playing my drums and I like my kitchen. When I play with my kitchen I pretend to make food and I give it to Mommy. After she eats it all I make some more. I also like to play with my cars. I have A LOT of cars. I pretend like they drive around the town. I also like to play my tuba (Mommy's note: he doesn't really have a tuba, it's a large fabric flower that he has twisted into the shape of a tuba and pretends to play it). I like to make all different sounds. Then I like to play with Thomas. Thomas is a very useful engine. I also like crayons. I color with my crayons. I have all different colors and they are all over the place.

My Leapster

My Leapster is really fun. I have a Leapster2. I play games on my Leapster. I have Cars and Wall-E. Wall-E is so silly. He collects all kinds of stuff and he recycles. I learn about shapes and numbers and planets and constellations. Jupiter is the biggest planet. Venus is almost the size of earth, it's the second planet. I just played and scored 135 points. Then I played again and scored 400 points!

When I play Cars I race and get tokens. I learn about letters and numbers.

My Leapster is cool. I love it. Love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it.

My Blankey

My blankey is blue and soft and fuzzy on one side and smooth on the other side. I like to smell my blankey. I like to play with it. I pretend I am a little puppy. I put it on my head and pretend it is ears. I roll and roll and roll around with blankey.

I like to sleep with my blankey and sometimes I throw it. Sometimes I spread out my blankey on the floor and have a picnic. Sometimes I hide in blankey, it is a lot of fun. I absolutely love playing with blankey.

I got my blankey when I was born.

Flowers

The flowers are so great because they like to grow everyday. When it's 66 degrees, they grow faster. My favorite color flowers are pink and smell nice. We have flowers growing in our garden right now, they are purple and yellow.

In 2009 I will turn 4 years old and I will still like flowers when I am 4 years old.

When you go pick a flower you should smell it and give it to your Mommy. I like to pick flowers, I love flowers. When flowers come that means it's almost spring, they are like a stopwatch because they tell you when spring is coming and sometimes spring comes really fast like a stopwatch and sometimes you can stop the stopwatch and spring stops and it gets cold again.

Sometimes flowers are yellow like ticklebuggies (Mommy's note: in case you don't know, click here to find out what a ticklebuggy is).

Snow Bubbles

My bubbles are my favorite thing to play with today. I can blow big ones and I can blow a lot of bubbles. I like to pop them. Sometimes they pop on my chin. I could blow them everyday. One time three of them stuck together and one time I blew a very tiny one.

I just blew five bubbles and one of them popped on my chest, splash!

Later today I am going to play in the snow again. I like to ride my sled in the snow and I like to throw snowballs and build snowmen. I make really cool angels, too. Before I go out in the snow I have to put on a lot of clothes. I put on boots, a coat, a hat, gloves and three shirts and three pants.

If I blow my bubbles in the snow they will pop, but I will make snow bubbles.

Puppies

Puppies are very good. They have puppies at the mall. Puppies have ears. When I saw puppies at the mall they were playing and they were drinking because they were so thirsty. The black puppy was laying on his back and I saw his wee-wee.

There were two puppies chasing each other. I got to pet a puppy and it was white and had a lot of hair.

Mommy is a very good friend. She loves to play and do something else. Mommy and Daddy like to play with cameras and take lots of pictures of me.

I love Mommy and Daddy.

I wrote Mommy a note, it said, "I Love Mom". I was proud that I could write my letters. I know how to spell, too and I know how to poop on the potty and I got all my privileges back because I pooped on the potty.

My heart is beating so fast right now, it goes, "boom, boom, boom, boom, boom." When I jump and talk at the same time (Nicholas is jumping up and down and running in place right now).

My TV is on right now and I love to watch Yo Gabba Gabba!

My Dad's name is Gary and grown ups call him that. My Mommy's name is Donna and Dad calls her that.

I like to sing my alphabet..."A B C D E F G H I J K L MNOP Q R S T U V W X Y Z.. now I know my ABC's, next time won't you sing with me?"

Marbles

Marbles are great to play with. They go around and around and side to side. They go down twirly slides and race to the end. When you end you can start over. I like to play with my marbles everyday. But I've lost some of my marbles, but I have three left. Mommy needs to get me some more marbles. My favorite marble is green, but if I got new marbles I would like to have red, purple, yellow, orange and blue marbles. My favorite color is red. I like it when we take apart the marble slides and put new ones back together because then we can race again and again and again and again. I like the wiggly slides too. I like to be wiggly when the marbles are going down the wiggly slides. When they go around and around, I go around and around too and get dizzy.

What I think about Mega Blocks

Mommy's note: I asked Nic what he thought of his Mega Blocks, and this is what he said:

I love to play Mega Blocks. I like to build towers and knock them down. I like to build really big towers. My puppy Mocha (stuffed animal) likes to play Mega Blocks too. They are so cool, I love them. They have all colors like green, blue, red, yellow and purple.

Mommy then asked if he thinks other kids would like playing with Mega Blocks:

Yes, they are fun to play with friends, too. You can make bowling pins with them and use a ball to knock them down!

My First Story - The Three Puppies

Once upon a time there were three little puppies. They liked to play in the snow and in real live bushes when they were outside. Then when they came inside they liked to type on the computer with Nic. Then they played with marbles and all of Nic’s toys. Then they played with fuzzy balls that bounced and bounced and bounced.

Nic said, “That’s my fuzzy ball, but I will share with you.”

Nic loved the puppies so he shared with them. The puppies loved Nic and his Mommy so they all played together.
